Best Green Practices Award

The IAPD Best Green Practices Award is presented to a park district, forest preserve, conservation, recreation or special recreation agency that has taken the initiative to incorporate and encourage environmentally friendly business practices and policies.

There is a $35 processing fee for each nomination. A narrative of agency practices detailing efforts to "Go Green" must be submitted via e-mail to bjhill@ILparks.org as a Word document. Narratives must not exceed 750 words. Supporting materials including newspaper clippings, photos, etc. (not to exceed 5 pages or 5 attachments)must also be e-mailed as .pdf attachments to bjhill@ILparks.org.

All nominations must be received by NOON on FRIDAY, AUGUST 2nd, 2013.  Agencies must be IAPD members in order to apply.
