Host a Flying 4 KIDS Kite Fly in April or May!
IAPD is coordinating the 13th annual Flying 4 KIDS Statewide Kite Fly designed to create awareness of the Park District Youth License Plate, an important revenue-generator for beyond-school programming at park, recreation and conservation agencies throughout Illinois.
We encourage park districts, forest preserves, conservation, recreation and special recreation agencies to host kite fly events during these months. IAPD will provide participating agencies with a FREE Event Planner's Guide, graphics and youth license plate brochures.

OSLAD and PARC Grants Released
We have some very exciting news to share with the IAPD membership!
We have learned that agencies with suspended OSLAD and PARC grants are now receiving letters from the IDNR restoring their projects to pre-suspension status to allow them to proceed. This includes the 2015 OSLAD and PARC grants!
