Jeffrey Schroeder, Managing Director

PFM Asset Management LLC

Jeffrey K. Schroeder is a Managing Director of The PFM Group with over 20 years of experience working with governmental sector clients. Jeffrey assists governmental and not-for-profit entities in the Midwest with the investment of all types of monies including operating funds, bond proceeds, reserve funds, foundations/endowments, pensions, and OPEB accounts. Mr. Schroeder works with many municipal government entities, including counties, cities, towns, villages, school districts, park districts, forest preserve districts, water districts, library districts, colleges/universities and other public authorities. He specializes in developing investment strategies and solutions for his governmental fund investors. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Finance Concentration from Valparaiso University. Mr. Schroeder is a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”) registered representative and holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.


Michelle Binns, Senior Managing Consultant

PFM Asset Management LLC

Michelle Binns is a Senior Managing Consultant and the primary relationship manager for PFM's Illinois park district clients. In this capacity she works with over 90 park districts and other public entities to develop and implement prudent investment solutions and investment strategies for short, intermediate, and long-term funds, including fixed income and multi-asset class portfolios. Michelle is a regular attendee and  speaker at the IAPD/ IPRA “Soaring to New Heights” conference and participates in other park district conferences and events throughout the year. Michelle has 11 years of industry experience.  Prior to joining PFM, Michelle earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from The Pennsylvania State University.
