Coronavirus (COVID-19) Precautions

There is nothing more important to the Illinois Association of Park Districts than the health and wellness of the park, recreation and conservation community.  We have made it a top priority to track the latest developments regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and monitor its impact on the state.  IAPD will keep our members informed about recommended strategies for prevention, communication and education on this most important topic.  Except for the Legislative Conference, Parks Day at the Capital, and the Legislative Reception, there are no plans to postpone any upcoming events.  We will adhere to recommendations from the Illinois Department of Public Health and the CDC, and should things change, we will examine all options necessary with the well-being of the IAPD family in mind.

Please contact me personally with any questions or concerns at (217) 523-4554.  For more information about COVID-19, please visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s website by clicking here, the World Health Organization’s website by clicking here, or the Illinois Department of Public Health by clicking here.
