Seminar 1:  Improve Your Likeability - Improve Your Impact   | July 23, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Schaumburg Park District's Schaumburg Golf Club/Chandler's

What is the impact of your likeability on your ability to communicate and accomplish your goals?  You hire, elect and listen to the people you like, right?  If you don’t like them; you don’t listen, and the law of reciprocity means if you are not likeable, they won’t either.

This program will guide you in becoming the best “you,” so that you can make positive, likable connections through effective communication strategies.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Remove your walls: understand the impact of what people see and hear
  • Develop professional trust: learn the signals of competence and confidence
  • Create focus: Use stories to change the way you connect and communicate

Bill Graham helps professionals (executives, salespeople, teachers, doctors, scientists, engineers, bankers, attorneys, non-profit leaders, and elected officials) to become more likable and impactful communicators.

Bill spent over a decade as Director of Creative Affairs for Procter and Gamble Productions, training writers and giving daily story notes for 7,000 hours of soap operas: Guiding Light, As the World Turns, and Another World. Writers he developed won Best Writing Emmy Awards 5 of his last 7 years at P&G.

Prior to working in television, he spent 12 years as producing director of Olney Theatre, a professional Equity theatre in Olney, MD.

He trains state legislators for the Council of State Government’s Leadership Academies.

Legislators from over half of the 50 States, Canada and Mexico have received this training.
He trains for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute, and he has served on the faculties of Seton Hall’s Leadership Communication program and NYU’s School for Hospitality, Tourism and Sports Management.

Professionals in 44 states, Canada, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, India, China, UAE, Germany and the United Kingdom have grown through Bill’s communications and leadership programs.
